Boho Bahia Partners With Independent Business Advocacy Groups To Launch 2023 Shop Indie Local Holiday Campaign
Quechee, Vermont – Boho Bahia will join the American Independent Business Alliance (AMIBA) to launch their Shop Indie Local Holiday Campaign, urging individuals and businesses to shift their holiday spending to locally owned and independent businesses. Independent business networks from across the nation have signed on as partners, pledging to organize neighboring businesses around the Shop Indie Local movement.
Every dollar spent at a locally owned and independent business returns 2-3 times more dollars back into a community than a dollar spent at a non-local business. These dollars recirculate through the local economy, building more local jobs and community wealth.
“Shop Indie Local Holiday partners raise awareness around the importance of supporting locally owned businesses,” said Jen Risley, AMIBA Director of Operations. “Together, we inspire more of us to shift our holiday spending to independent businesses and amplify the local economy movement throughout North America.”
As part of the Shop Indie Local festivities, Boho Bahia will be celebrating with local events at Z Botanicals in Hartland VT, The Hair Room in Tilton NH, and Rise in Meredith NH.
“By expanding out from Black Friday events on TikTok Shops, Etsy and Handmade Amazon we hope to bring jewelry customization, personalized products, holiday gift wrap, and more offerings to our local clients this holiday season,” said Vanessa the crystal jewelry maker at Boho Bahia.
